Stallone Prepares Rambo IV: In The Serpent's Eye

Enter: RAMBO IV, Legendary Actor and Hollywood action movie hero, Sylvester Stallone was in world news again last week, as he prepares to fly to Thailand next January 2007, for the filming and movie production of the latest in the RAMBO series.

Coming on the heels of ROCKY BALBOA, the 6th serial of the boxing legend slated for the the theaters by Xmas in December 2006. Our darling hero seems to be telling the world that, though, he may be ageing but not tired of exploits, nor considering retirement from the entertainment thriller business.

Rambo IV is patterned after the previous ones: dangerous rescue missions by unconventional means, with a band of mercenaries to the rescue of Christian missionaries on relief work in Burma, under the shadow of a brutal military dictatorship. The irony of the movie script, written by Sly himself is the crossing of destiny path by Missionaries and Mercenaries.

30 years ago, he debuted in this movie that brought him to limelight and stardom. Today, it is still a great joy to all Slyvester Stallone fans world-wide, to learn that "Rocky" won't just be buried. 'Rocky' comes out of retirement to do the only thing he knows best how to do:- FIGHT!

Slated for Christmas period, pricisely from 22nd of December, 2006. 68 DAYS TO GO, Wow! The sixth in the sequel of 'Rocky' series, ROCKY BALBOA, is set to hit the screens. I can't wait to plug in. Get ready for another thriller from this icon and inspiration of many youths and the poor for the last 3 decades all over the world.

In a befitting signal of acceptance, the Philadepia city Art Commission voted last week to bring the 8ft 6in bronze statue of Stallone in a "arms-aloft-in-victory-Rocky-pose", out of the warehouse where it was kept in the 'cooler' for two decades and now placed on a street-level, at the foot of the steps leading to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

At the commissioning ceremony last week, our hero and icon (S.S), was reported as expressing his gratitude with these words: "This is an incredible honour from the greatest city in the United States..., it's about love, it's about passion, it's about having something inside of you that you know must be filled..."

Sylvester Stallone: The Marriage of Strength and Compassion!

It is a world of the strong. The weak are trodden upon to give way to the strong. Raw strength is always facsinating when in display. It would be foolish to argue with strength. I abhor strength that is employed to cheat, muzzle, oppress, rape, kill the innocent and the weak. But when strength is combined with compassion and deployed to help the weak, cheated, raped, oppressed, poor and the helpless, it stirs up joy from my innermost being.

That is why I love Slvester Stallone. He is the epitome and symbol of raw strength, in the service of truth and justice. That is what all his films and movies that I have watched evoked in my memory. There is not much ado in macho, if it cannot fight and win the battle for truth and justice against wickedness and evil. A few weeks ago, on 6th of July, this year, this icon marked his 60th birthday. As we celebrate with him, I consider this blog a mark of honor to the man who was considered an underdog, but rose to victory and fame in life inspiring everyone with a will to do same!

I have dedicated this my blog to share my love, emotion, and appreciation of this courageous icon of moral uprightness and entertaining actor, through sharing my personal opinion of his movies and films that I have enjoyed watching with all who love him for who he is, like me.
